Description: Traveled Lane Trailers, Inc.

We're pleased to announce the arrival of this Frontier Fast Track 2+1 gooseneck. We've been selling 2+1s since the late 1990s and right from the start, they became customer favorites. Whereas the typical 3H is a slant load that's sized for small to medium-sized horses, a 2+1 can accommodate 2 to 3 large horses or 2 mares and foals. The 2+1 offers a lot of versatility in an easy-to-handle size. Frontier offers stout construction and high feature content at a very affordable price, so we're very excited to be able to offer this model alongside our other popular Frontier models.

In standard form, the Fast Track 2+1 offers two warmblood-sized straight stalls plus a box stall. We ordered this one with an extra foot of length, which gives it more space in the box stall and a touch more space in the tack room. Set it up as two straight stalls plus a box and you can carry two or three large horses. Set it up as a pair of box stalls and you're ready for long-distance travel or to carry a pair of mares and foals. And unlike a shorter trailer, a properly-configured 2+1 has the space to let you load via the side ramp - great if you do a lot of trailering without an assistant.

As with the other Frontiers, the Fast Track 2+1 features a stout aluminum tube frame, aluminum skin and extruded aluminum plank floor. To get an idea of the robust construction, take a look at the pictures of the structure under the GN. Those prominent tubes are 2x8s. They're massive! The better the foundation, the safer and more durable the trailer.

Body width of the Frontier 2+1 is 7 feet and body height is 7'6", so it's quite roomy. The warmblood-sized straight stalls have a padded stall divider and thickly padded butt & chest bars. A standard heavy duty wall liner protects your horses and the trailer. Other standard features include 50/50 box stall doors with upper bars for good air flow, a head divider, a vent over each stall and plenty of windows (including a drop feed window at the head of each stall). On this one, we specified two vents over the box stall plus a large slider window over the side ramp, so there's even more natural light and ventilation than in standard configuration.

For the convenience and safety of horse handlers, there's an escape door across from the side ramp and a pass door from horse area to tack area. There are standard running boards as well.

For ease in loading and unloading, the side ramp opening is an inviting 5' wide. The spring-assisted ramps have hinge covers to provide a smooth transition from ramp to floor and vice versa. It's a nice touch you won't find on many trailers. We can think of one brand that has hinge covers and their trailers cost nearly twice as much as Frontiers.

The tack area comes with blanket bars, brush tray, adjustable bridle hooks and a couple of saddle racks as standard, but this one has 4 adjustable-height saddle racks. The lockable door has a window as standard and we specified a couple of windows up in the gooseneck, so there's plenty of light and ventilation. It's a well-equipped space.

Other desirable standard features include smooth-riding torsion axles, 235/80R16 Load Range E radial tires, brakes on all wheels, bright LED interior & running lights, dual landing gear (jacks) and much more. This one also has the optional spare tire tucked up under the gooseneck.

We took on the Frontier line in late 2013 and they quickly became strong sellers thanks to their excellent combination of structure, features & price. The versatility of the Fast Track 2+1 makes it especially appealing - load it from the side, load it from the rear, set it up as straight stalls & a box or set it up as two boxes. We invite you to stop by and check out the Fast Track 2+1 and our other Frontiers. They're impressively built and attractively priced.
