Here's a 2011 Brenderup Solo. The Solo is designed for one horse to 16 hands. The Solo is Brenderup's most affordable model. If you like the idea of a trailer that's extremely easy to pull or if you don't want the responsibility of transporting someone else's horse, a one horse trailer may be just the trailer for you. We often have the Baron One in stock at Traveled Lane Trailers. *** Please note that the Solo has a very generous 51 inch stall width - plenty of room for your horse, and that width gives the trailer a good stance - it doesn't have that "too narrow" look of the one horse trailers of many years ago. *** Brenderups are designed to be towed safely by many of today's smaller, more fuel efficient vehicles. The Solo weighs approximately 1300 lbs, but equally important, the loaded tongue weight is only about 100 lbs. (For comparison, the loaded tongue weight of a traditional 2H trailer is typically 400-500 lbs. We use a 2H for comparison because most manufacturers don't offer a one horse trailer.) *** Brenderups feature a sophisticated chassis design that doesn't require a heavy tongue weight for directional stability. Brenderup trailers have been in production since the early 1950s and have been on sale here in the States since the early 1980s, so the design is well proven. *** Brenderups have Inertia brakes, which automatically apply braking force in proportion to the load in the trailer.
