When the owner of this trailer contacted us, we were told it was very clean. Even with that advance notice of its condition, we were still surprised at just how clean it was
when it showed up. It looked almost as new pulling onto our lot. This Adam 2H straight load with dressing room just came in for us to show as a private sale. The owner had pulled a gooseneck for years. When it was time to replace the old trailer, she decided to try a bumper pull. This trailer did its job just fine, but the owner was accustomed to a gooseneck and decided to go back to one. Here's your chance to own this nicely-equipped Adam at a price well below that of a new one,
Let's start our tour with the horse area. The easy-to-lift ramp has a very effective assist. The ramp mat is of a type we've found to be very grippy, even when wet. There's a large window next to each stall and a window in each escape door. There's a 2-way vent over each stall, so between windows and vents, there's good natural light and ventilation. There's a thick floor mat and as you can see in one of the images, the floor planks show essentially as new. There are kick panels and for the comfort and safety of your horses, the stall divider, walls and butt & chest bars are padded. There are running boards on both sides for convenient access to the horse area and dressing room.
By our tape, body length is 13' full width plus a 3.5' V-nose, for a total body length of 16.5 feet. The horse area is approximately 10'. Body width is 6'2" and body height is in the 7'4" to 7'5" range.
The dressing room is quite spacious, 3' full width plus the 3.5' V-nose. Dressing room features include two adjustable-height contoured saddle racks and several bridle hooks. High on the back wall, there's a strip of cargo-handling E-Track to allow reconfigurable hanger arrangements. (Hanger hardware is not included, but E-Track accessories are readily available.) There's a window in the lockable DR door and there's a window in the wall opposite the door. There's also a screen door, a feature you don't find on a lot of trailers. The spare tire is stored at floor level in the V-nose, out of the weather and out of reach of those who like to get their tires free of charge.
This Adam has an aluminum skin over a steel frame. It rides on torsion-axle independent suspension and the radial tires were mounted in the last year.
We invite you to stop by and check out this very clean, well-equipped Adam bumper pull!
