The Elite is one of the best trailers out there hands down... You can't go wrong with an Elite. I personaly own one. Everyone has their favorite brand of trailer and will argue over it. If a trailer meets your needs buy it. If you are not happy with it sell it and try again.
Trust me there will always be someone out there that will love what ever brand you buy and want it. HEE HEEIf the price it right...

Stevie,
Like the post before me, everyone has their favorite brand of trailer.....I vote for Elite as my favorite brand! I just bought my 3rd one. I'm just a nurse by profession, but I think anybody can look at the way they are put together and tell that they are a quality trailer. My first trailer was ordered straight from the factory and everything was just as I had expected it to be. I've never had any probelms with any of the trailers or the service provided by their dealers. They have made a few improvements from my first to the third, like the latches to the drop down windows for the horses are now built lower for easier access for we short folks! I really did some shopping before this last purchase and I am so glad that I was able to afford to stay with the Elite!

Payments will be determined by cost of the trailer, percentage rate and term of financing. Some banks will go to 15 years on the loan. Do a search on horse trailer loans and also talk to your bank and credit union.
You will be pleased with your Elite purchase. We are on our second one. Had other brands of trailers each with their own qualities and areas for improvement. I have a 2005 and wish I had the lower drop-down latches. I have bonked my head several times lowering the drop down windows! But overall have been very pleased with the workmanship. Some of my favorite features are the jalousie windows, insulated roof in horse compartment, Open Bar stall dividers, excellent rubber lining and marine grade flooring.

What kind of payments do you have? I am a nurse too and have been looking at getting an Elite but not certain I am able to make the payments.
Be careful NOT to get upside-down with a long term loan...
Lots of places will extend the number of years but it is up to you to determine if a trailer will have value that will exceed the loan balance after 7 YEARS...if SOMETHING WERE TO HAPPEN TO IT...OTHERWISE you could find yourself paying for something of little or no value...

She asked about a trailer, not some how brow lesson on financing and how to run her life and spend her money. She obviously doesn't need that from somebody like you, since she is smart enough to be looking at purchasing one of the best made trailers there is, and that will last her a life time, instead of some used junk that she would be replacing in a few years with no resale. Offer some real advice instead of your cute little .

Yeah, I recently asked about a 60 k lq trailer. Asked about payments and for 15 yrs it was 500 a month. I was thinking that was stiilll steep for me on payments. This was also with my current trailer which Iwanted a 10 k for as trade. You add up what 500 x 180 ends up being and in the end you paid for a 90K trailer or more. You would think prices would come down. What kind of jobs do people have that they can afford a Lq on 5 yrs of payments that are 900.00 a month. With the increase in gas and cost of things now days I can't see how people are coming up with the extra money to make those payments.

Dear TX. If you read the entire thread you'll find there was a related question from someone else about financing. You response is out of line and . . . . rude.

When I was considering purchasing a new trailer, I called Elite with a couple of truly stupid questions. An engineer promptly returned my call and answered my questions well. I was impressed by the quality and responsiveness of Elite's customer service.
