OK,here's the deal: we had all 4 of our lugnut/center cap covers to come off recently on a trip.I assume that going over either a RR track/rough washboard roads, and the tires inflated to the max, helped contribute.

So,my dealer sent me 4 replacements. They are 8 lugnut pattern plus the center cap cover in one.As you know, most of these type of things now are plastic. So,what is a good way to keep these from coming off again after we put them back on? Any suggestions? Serious ones, please. Not "Throw those in the trash and get all chrome wheels at a cost of $$$$$$$".

CRG, over the years I have never lost one. I always knock them on with my fist and check to be sure they are seated all the way down against the rim. Be sure you have the right size, some are made for 1/2" studs and others are for 9'16" studs..... Assuming that you have 8 lug wheels.

I bought me a set of these for our 6H2H, Cherokee... Kinda dressed up a plain, no graffics, trailer.

So,those fit over the entire wheel itself, right? These covers are the original ones that came on the trailer, and they sent me 4 "refills" identical to the ones that came off.

So you have the stainless wheel "simulators" that will fit inside the entire rim, lugs and center cap? The wheel is an 8 lug bolt pattern. Also, see PM I sent.

These simulators do away with the "chrome plastic" center caps, hide any rust as well as dress up the wheels. The local "tomcat" hasn't been able to etch these covers with his.....SPRAY!!

These instructions "splain" how they go on.

The wheel skin fits over the lugs, two extenders screw onto two of the lugs, the center cap with six lug nut covers fit over the skin, then the two lug extensions screw onto the lug extenders, holding it all together. Comes with instructions and it's own little T-handle.

Couldn't get to that link that you sent, page unavailable. So,these pretty much cover the entire wheel that exists? Can't get it through my head how it works or how it goes on there! Pretty sharp, tho.

I've had the one piece press on wheel Sims that are original equipment. After one season I lost half of them. I purchased the bolt on type of which retento is speaking. There is no way they can be jarred off, they look very nice and are of a high quality.

I purchased mine from RTSmith. Excellent person to deal with

Do you have a website/link or phone # for them?

I imagine what your wheels had on them were the same as what our trailer had.

CRG  Here's a copy of the PM Richard sent me concerning the SIMS.

Gard
Yes, simulators come in sets of 4 only. But our parts dept has been selling singles for years. Feel free to call Roger @ 931-685-4040 and he can ID what you need & UPS it ASAP. He has an EBay store at SelectTrailer, but I think only sets may be on there.
Richard

PS
Roger is great to work with. Fast, fair shipping costs, and excellent products. Tell him Richard sent you and you'll be treated like gold.
