I'm sure I've seen suggestions here before, and I did a search ... but couldn't find what I was looking for.
I could use some suggestions for a tool kit to carry in the trailer with anything I'm likely to need for routine trailer maintenance and emergency issues. No suggestion is too obvious - this is my first trailer! (4 Star 3H GN, no LQ, no ramp) Thank you!

A small tool kit (wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, etc.), warning flares/triangles, jack or whatever method you prefer to lift a trailer to change a tire, lug wrench for tire lugs. Duct tape and electrical tape, some type of spray lubricant. Can't think of too much more right now, hopefully someone will put a link to the thread earlier this year..... it had lots of other stuff too.

Aha! I'm glad you mentioned the box to put everything in - because awhile back I was thinking about such an item to stash along the GN wall in the DR and then I forgot about it ... I may even already have an appropriate box for just this purpose. :)

Good lists so far!
I second the Fire Extinguisher notion as well as spare wheel bearings.
I like to keep:
Hammer
Vice Grips
Electrical tape
Roll of wire
12V test light
A johnson bar and set of sockets, not a 4way lug wrench, good luck getting a rusted lug nut off with that, I like a 24" Breaker bar.
I keep one set of bearings for a whole axle, both sides cups and cones with a punch and a small packet of grease so if I have to I can replace enroute. (been there done that)
