What are everyone's opinon on Onan Propane generators. Whe have been trailer shopping for a while and have found possibly the one. The only experience I have had with the Onan is one that is in the rear tack and my parents have had none stop trouble with it. I am wondering if their's is the norm or if they just have a bad one.

I have had one about 4 years and haven't had any problems with it. A friend also has one and it is probably going on 10 yrs. and they have had very little problems, mostly just wear and tear related stuff.

I haven't had a propane. I have always stayed with the gas for the higher rating and ease of getting fuel. On the gas, I have never had a problem with it. Just have to make sure and put fuel stabilizer in it if it is going to sit for a long period.
