So what is the significances of the snow?  Is it rare in your part of the world? Or is this just an exceptionally late storm.

It's always fun to watch the horses play in new snow. I provide a barn for my horses, but they always seem to rpefer to stand out in the snow storm.

I've seen so much snow this winter, that I'm tickled to see some green.

No, if you look closely you can see Dwight's hand on the gate of the barn.  It just seemed like that's what they were saying to him.

Snow is not exactly rare in central KY...although it has been a while since we had more than a few inches at a time.  1"-3" is typical for this area, usually in Jan. and Feb.  8"-10" in mid March is unusual.  Last time that happened was March 13, 1993.  I remember the day quite well because it was my wedding day!!

The biggest KY snow in my lifetime was Jan. 1977.  We got 24".  I was just a kid and we were out of school nearly two weeks.  The entire city of Louisville shut down.

RIDE ON!

I do see a hand on the gate of the barn, but how can that person be those horses' daddy? It doesn't make sense to me.

I hope you realize that I'm just being a smarty pants.

It is interesting how snow affects various regions so differently.
