perfect11s, we wish we could get a Ranger diesel over here. We had them for a short time back in 1985 - 1988, but due to slow-no sales they were pulled off the market. A friend of mine that farms had one of those little short bed Rangers. The bed had a 100 gallon fuel tank, tool boxes, jacks, air compressor and he weighed way over 300#. Poor little truck would be started 1st thing in the morning and it would run all day! I forget what make engine it had in it. I want to think it was a Mitsubishi 4D55T 2.3 liter Turbo Diesel. I know it wasn't a 66 horspower 4.135 Perkins!! They were never offered here. What engine is in the new Ford Ranger? I see the F150 suppose to get a 4.4 liter 330hp, 520# torque diesel in 2010.... we will wait and see.

its also rated to tow 3000kg,  and or carry 1000 kg.. I would guess if you guys pester ford enough they might offer it over there, ford sell diesel versions of  there cars over here  fiesta, focus, mondeo etc as do most manufactures.

Good Day to All.  HTWOK here is another web site for your pleasure www.fossilfreefuel.com.   I read all their information and I have talked to them.  They will convert your diesel for you and have classes on how to do everything yourself.  They were very nice to me and told me what time and day their classes were.  I do not have a diesel truck or car.  So my next truck will be a old diesel truck to convert to this way of driving.  I have to do something since I need to keep driving.  My family is looking at electric cars for work.  Sorry about going off the subject.  Gas here is now $3.200 - $3.35 and up.  Diesel is about $4.18 and up.
