I want to do my interior trailer lighting on 12v power. I want them to come on at the flip of a switch (one switch for lights in nose, one for lights over main floor and one switch set up for fan over shower...possibly a light nearby too).

Can these lights be used? I was confused since there is a switch on the light that determines if one or both lights come on?

yes you can use these lights. if dry camping I will turn one light off to conserve the batteries but still have them wired to a wall switch

Mandi, you can use wall switches to control any 12v incandescent light fixture whether or not it has its own switch. The ability to switch each of the lamps from the fixture itself seems like it might be useful, too.
