I would like to fasten aluminum diamond plate to a steel horse trailer. Should I use steel or aluminum rivets or screws? Or tape?

Is this to be a rock guard on the front of the trailer?

If so, I'd recommend Line-X  http://www.linex.com/

Otherwise you want ceramic-coated stainless steel screws to inhibit rust...

Thanks Paul.
I am covering the steel siding with aluminum truck panels. I will probably put something in between to keep them from touching. The rivets or screws will go through the aluminum sheet, then steel sheet and into the steel frame. Where do you find ceramic coated screws?
