We are getting people aproved for 40,000 to 45,000 @ 180 month for around 6.5 to 7.5 % using local banks. Using some of the other financing Companies we are getting any where from 7 to 11 % for the same people. Try to stay with local bank or credit unions if possible if not we try to use companys like ETAC

I just had a used trailer financed through Southeast Financial. I found their website through this website(HTW). I went to the local banks and they won't do trailer loans of any sort (RV,Horse, ect.) The lady said that they don't even do Vehicle loans unless you buy through a dealership. The only type of loans they do now are home equity and unsecured. So I had to do an online loan through Southeast. I have gone through them before and have been well pleased. I have excellent credit My Score is 700+ range. and my interest rate is 9.40%.

Just purchased a used trailer.. My rate was 9.25% through GE.. I checked local banks and they said they would only finance for 36 months at like 12%.. Didn't want that big of payment.. Next bank was 10.5% for 4 years.. If you get a home equity line of credit you could use that and plus the interest rate is deductible... Just a thought.. I was going to do that but I found the trailer I wanted and didn't have time for the paper work to go thru.. Takes about 2 weeks for a home equity line to go thru..
