I am looking to buy a new trailer and was looking the sundowner stampede 3 horse GN. In my searches I found a similar trailer that W-W makes but is cheaper in price.

For the price difference if you are looking at an all steel trailer WW makes an excellent trailer.I have owned 2 of them and both were very good trailers.

WW has been around a long time. Sundowner's are well made but tend to be pricey probably due to all the advertising they do.
One thing to be sure about is the size of the horse stalls - height, width, and length as the less expensive trailers tend to have smaller horse stalls. Also look at the welds, hinges, locks, flooring construction, etc. With horse trailers you really do get what you pay for as there is a reason why certains brands are less expensive.

We had 2 WW trailers. I think one was a 78 and one was an 84. They held up quite well. One, the first one, was hit by a semi. No horses, just hay. My dad just sold the replacement WW a couple of years ago.

I had a two horse BP WW, loved it. The only reason I sold it was that my hub's new horse was too big for it. A person in pony club bought it, painted it with a roller (!!!) looked great, and went on for another ten years service. It was a 1978, I think it is still being used today by other pony clubbers. Nice trailer, pulled well and I enjoyed it for the time I had it.
