We stayed there last year and had a very good time.  When we first pulled in, the camp didn't look like much...I was afraid we had made a mistake.  However, once we got settled in, it turned out to be a great time.  The owners had only taken over the camp a few weeks prior to our arrival and were working very hard to improve some things that the previous owners had let go.

The bath house had been their first project and they did an excellent job.  Cool, CLEAN and roomy...no bumping your elbows on the walls when you wash your hair like some camps we've been to.

The food was super.  They even fixed rabbit one night (and fried chicken for those not into game).  The "buffet" was more like eating at Grandma's on Sunday...one meat, a couple of veggies, a simple salad and dessert.  But, if you didn't care for what was served, the ladies in the kitchen would find you something.

The stalls our horses were in had not been renovated yet but there was a nice new barn up on the hill and the lower barn was next on the list for improvements.

You will have to ride with a guide.  The trails are not marked and they wander across different properties.  They had two groups go out each day, one fast and one slow.  There was some very nice scenery.

I posted pics from our trip on this forum.  I will try to find them and bump them back up.

RIDE ON!
