I am looking at a 2000 Sooner Whisper 4H Trailer. Does anyone know what kind of trailer these are? I can't find out any info on them. Are they one of sooners better trailers? Any info will help. Thanks.

Hello, I'll go first I guess. Sooner had an excellent reputation as one of the best built trailers on the market, up until a few years ago. They were sold to a big corporation on or about 2004 or 2005 (I think...don't quote me or take my word for the gospel truth) and then people started lamenting the quality. I've personally looked at a 2002 Revolution and thought it to be VERY well made. Not sure about the Whisper model and what features it has. I would do a search on Horse Trailer World for comps of that brand (and others like 4-Star, Hart, CM,) to see what they are selling for. Another site I like is Tacktrader.com. Good luck! PS take all advise with " a grain of salt".

I'll go next. I have a '97 Sooner 3 horse slant with a weekender package. I'm not sure what the model it is. It has been hauled hard and has lots of miles on it. It has carried big horses for the most part. But it has also been well maintained. I bought it used from the lady I take lessons from a year and a half ago. I love the thing. Everything still works in the horse part and the LQ. All rivets and welds still in place. Hauls great. No leaks. Great trailer! If the 2000 is as well made you will be fine. Just be sure to really check it out like you should any used trailer.
