Twice now I have packed up after a show and forgotten to turn off my hot water heater.  I do turn off my propane when going down the road so I would guess it tries unsuccessfully to ignite.  Both times I remembered about an hour down the road and pulled over to check, and turned it off.   Should I expect the igition on the hot water heater to give out here soon?

I think it will only try a few times before it has to be reset by turning the switch off and back on so you should be ok.
