I purchased a 1994 aluminum horse trailer with drop down windows.  The drop down windows are 27" x 27" fairly large and have no bars to keep the horses head inside the trailer when traveling.  I would like to get screens or webbing to prevent them from putting their heads out.  Any ideas?

I can't remember the website offhand that has nice trailer screens that zip in the middle.I think it was on the same website as the guy who handled the gooseneck trailer device that allows a person to unlatch and latch the coupler from the ground.I will do some thinking on  this and get back with you if I remember. There are some of these screens in supply magazines such as Valley Vet,Country Supply,ect.also.

I did a search for the window screens.Apparently the Hitchboss GN latch is not around, but I found several window screens, one that is zippered,on www.not-just-parts.com site by World Class Equine.Other sites have the ones made by Professional Choice.Good luck.

I had the same problem. I thought about screens but then thought that the horses would tear them up so instead I got some stainles steel rods and had a welder heat up and flatten the ends then drilled holes into them and screwed them onto the inside of the window. Cheaper than paying 150 ea window for the bar attachment for the window. Just a thought...
