Was all set on the Hawk 2H straight load with ramp/dressing and Rumbar floor (alum. over steel/fiberglass roof)when this 2004 Sooner SE214- pristine-came up locally as a trade.  It is all alum., same specs. otherwise as Hawk.

The price on the 2004 Sooner is $11,900.  The Hawk around $10,000 new. Question is which is a better bang for the buck?  The all alum. sounds nice but Sooner is basically a trumped up Exiss- worth it?  Is this a decent price for this trailer?

Love this site and appreciate the input!!

$1,900 difference for all aluminum vs. a steel trailer that's a no brainer, I bet if you tell the dealer you'll give him $10K for the used Sooner you'll own IT.
