I have a 2 horse gooseneck (Charmac) with a liner half way up the inside horse walls all the way around. It's about 1/4" thick and looks to be rubber/plastic and is white. It's attached with several pop rivets. I noticed that when it's hot, the liner buckles a little. It goes back to a good fit when the temperature is cooler. When it is bowed a little, it looks like a horse with issues could get a hoof on the edge and possibly cause a problem. Anybody else seen this type of liner and if so, how was it attached? Are the pop rivets the only way this type product can be attached. If it were glued, seems like it would pull away under extreme temperature changes.

I just installed Rumber liner in my trailer and assume the theory would be the same. The installation instructions tell you to make the hole just a little larger than the screw or rivet will be to allow for expansion. I am making the assumption your liner would need the same leeway for expansion and that maybe it wouldn't buckle if it had that.
