Is it vented?  You should see a smaller line coming out of the top of the filler.

?

What kind of trailer do you have?

My Trails West is on the side and has a fill for water in the storage tank which is a large enough hole in the filler for the hose end to fit and a vent hole next to it for air to escape and water comes out when full.

It has a freswater hook up next to it were a hose screws on to it. Have you looked at your tank to see if there is water in it ? Perhaps the filler is kinked or plugged.

Try putting water in slower.

Not knowing your water plumbing I am just guessing.

Thats my 2 cents Thanks for the question.

Mine is housed in a little recessed box with a door.

You don't need to buy anything just cut the end of an old hose off. Make sure it is the end that will attach to the end of your normal fill hose and leave about 8" of hose on it. Use this small hose portions as a nozzle for the fill hose.
