I'm looking at buying a new 06 Silver Star 3 horse all Aluminum trailer full LQ with the 8 ft sw. I just want to know from people that have Owned one what they think about this brand of trailer. I've not seen any in my area. Thanks MaryM

Marym..
There have been some other threads on this board regarding the Silver Star brand. I have an '03 2 horse slant GN with a 42' Short Wall dressing room. The model is the Starlite Supreme. I love my trailer. I think this manufacturer provides lots of "bang for the buck".

That's funny!!
I have one and I LOVE it. Did I tell you that I LOVE it? Great all-aluminum trailer with a lot of standards that other manufactures call options.

We just bought a Silver Star 7.5' SW LQ a few months ago. We've only used it once so far, so not a lot of experience with it yet.
When we were looking, it seemed to me that in the price range the 'competition' was the low end Kiefer Built model (alum. skin on steel frame), and the Exiss Sport. What sold us was the features it had that the others didn't. It's an all aluminum trailer, has Michelin tires, has aluminum wheels, has insulated roof in the horse area, has plenty of lights in horse area, has an awning standard, has a/c standard, has heavier axles standard, has LED lights standard, used higher grade hardware, has a better warranty, and just in general looked like a better built trailer with many standard features that were options on most others. We were also impressed with the attention to detail in the Stallion Coach LQ conversion. It is a little scary buying an 'off' brand trailer, but I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
