I'm celebrating imminent Grad from University by buying myself a trailer :)
We already have a big ole truck that has a heavy duty towing package for husbands big toys, so I demand equal time!!! :) :)
I've found a very nice used 2 horse that we would like to convert to a 2-horse plus small LQ, has (I think) 8 foot dressing room. It currently has nothing in it - bare metal walls, I think.
We were planning to go to IKEA and buy the furnishings - they have nice and affordable kitchen cabinets, odds and ends, etc. My question has more to do with the initial work. How on earth do I (a) go about insulating it, and with what, (b) what do I use to finish the walls with (wood panelling would be nice heh heh but too heavy - I'd like to keep the trailer as light as possible) (c) lighting! It has two itty bitty 12v lights right now, I need more - we'd also like to buy an inverter I think it's called so we can run 110 off of it in a pinch. How on earth do I go about doing the wiring? I'm fairly handy, can learn how to do it - but I want to know what is truly out of my depth.
There is a wealth of knowledge on this board - looking forward to hearing responses! Thanks!

One place that I would suggest is todd.redwrench.com. There is a lot of good information there, plus more importantly pictures. I'm just starting the same type of project, and have a bunch more confidence after seeing these pics and explanations. Also, if you do a search on here, there are several who have good ideas and pictures as well.
