Your new MAC might be blocking this from being installed on your computer (thinking it might be a virus). Or you need to install this software on your computer. Try clicking on the spell check icon and see if you get a warning of this type. It is located just under my IE toolbar on my computer. I can't install this on my work computer for the possible virus reason, so I have to watch how I type when I check in at work.

It's the IMac G5 with the new processor. My son has an I Book and loves it. I like the computer but I am miffed that I can't do somethings (especially on this site!) with it. Trade offs for everything, I guess.

The spell check icon is gone!! I really suck at spelling too. I'll have to keep the dictionary handy now. The emoticons are there but don't transfer. Damn, I really liked them...

Isn't it possible/practical to do the spell and grammar check on the "Mac side" of your replying ?
I have a couple of Amigas, also an Amiga emulator on a Laptop PC.
I can do all the spell and grammar checks on the "Amiga side", though for informal forums like this I havn't bothered to.

I quess I could. I have spell and grammar check on my e-mails and I'm sure I have it elsewhere but I think it would be easier just to spell like Jessie... or use my trusty dictionary. I'm just a bit disappointed that I lost it on this site. Now I have to actually MAKE my emoticons too. Geezzz, what is this world coming to??? :0(
