I have been trailer shopping and have posted a few other memos here to help with my dissiccion. I have now found two trailers an S&H and CM both I like but I need the dirt on these brands so I know what to look for and what to be wary of. Any help and comments would be great!! These trailers are four horse slants with four foot short wall and aluminum. The CM is a steel frame and aluminum body. the S&H is all aluminum and has a wood floor.

I had a S&H 3 horse slant Other than the door being a little narrow on the tack room I loved it. I bought one that was 2002 at the bening of 2004 It was new on the lot. I kept it a year and traded it on my 2003 exiss and got more than I paid for it. It pulled great and seemed to have weathered well. I never had a problem with it except the tack room door and it lacked ground clearnce.

I have a CM Norstar (all aluminum) the floors are   well supported, set on about 6" centers with stringers pretty close.... I really love this trailer and have been impressed with how they hold up over time... CM still makes a steel trailer/Cimmaron (a sister company) makes all aluminum. I think it is the S&H that has steel frame/alum body? There are certain advantages to having that combo... say..if you are going to steep, rough terrain to trailride...the steel frame could be the way to go. Just make sure the structure is well built... get a really good used trailer instead of a crappy cheap new one..4-star/Elite/Bloomer/Platinum/Cimmaron are very good trailers...We had a Titan weekender that was a great trailer for not a lot of money and held up like new for 4 years(it was all steel)...
