To the owners/moderators of horsetrailerworld.com: Would it be possible to add an option to the trailer search to search for trailers with midtacks? I am in the market for a trailer with a midtack and it would be extremely helpful for me to look for trailers with this option. Thank you for your consideration! ~Starz13

I also would like to make some suggestions.
Options to search by Aluminum, steel, etc..
Options to search by Rear Tacks
Options to search by other price ranges 5-10;11-15;16-20 and make them smaller ranges.
BUT it really doesn't help much if the dealers/sellers don't put them in the right catagory to begin with.

Since we're all adding options-I have only found one site that lets you vary the number of horses. I would prefer a 2 horse, but am not opposed to a three. I can search one or the other, but not open it up to look at both those options at once. And yes-mid tack search would be great.

And how about new versus used? And slant load versus straight load? I am looking for a head to head, and have to wade through all of the slant loads to actually see the pic to see which it is.

While we are at it, how about being able to search selectively by state, by region or by distance? And for the dealers that offer free nationwide delivery, a check box for them, rather than having it crammed into the state heading. Another thing since we are there, is in the interest of safety, to include a listing for weight!!!

I definitely can appreciate the weight listing! How about enforcing the gn vs bumperpull listings. I can't tell you how many bumperpullls get pulled up when I search for a gooseneck trailer. How can you mistake that? The names don't even start with the same letter...lol...
I have seen some sites offer distance from zip code searches. That way you can still search out of state without having to go through all 50 states to find the trailer within 500 miles of you!

I don't mean to be beating up on dealers all the time, I just think there are a lot of us that are looking to buy sell USED TRAILERS, and we don't want to have to sort thru all the new trailers to see what we want.

I would like to see an accurate price on every ad, no $0 ads and no "call for pricing" ads.
I TOTALLY agree with this. When I was looking for a brand new trailer, I never gave these people a second look or one click. I figure that they either don't know what the price is or they want to "haggle" a price with me. Either way, it's a waste of MY time and theirs.

Amen on the $0 adds I have never once looked at one of these ads and don't intend to. Take ad #58172 I called about this ad in July I think when it came out and imediately they said it was sold. It is still in there and I don't think they ever had this trailer for sale just a come on. I know it was aleast that long because I bought a new one in August. But I don't have a sugesstion how to stop this unless you separate Individual ads from dealer ads. This dealer is in Fla.
