We are looking for a nice place to ride in the winter without freezing our buns off... would prefer hookups, but can go primative... don't want to dodge bullets from hunters either....

Check the Bar50 Ranch located 15 miles south of Hot Springs, Arkansas.  Website is www.barfiftyranch.com, although I heard a rumor that the hunters forced them to stay off the trails during hunting season, but I think their hunting season ends there in January.

Bar50 is good but be sure to check out Lonesome D around Russellville, AR (New Blaine, AR)

Trails are rocky, but being from MO, you are probably use to this.

They have a New Year's Eve ride, but only about 25 riders were there.  We just got back yesterday from a long weekend there.

You can also check out Cedar Lake in the Oauchita Mountains. (I'm sure I spelt that wrong). It's in the Southeastern part of the state. Beautiful and you can ride there all year long without fear from hunters. Has some absolutely gorgeous campsites. That's our favorite place to go. It's about 12 miles south of Heavener, Oklahoma. 53
