I am thinking about buying a Featherlite 8541 - 2001 3H gooseneck w/ lq but am wondering if my large paint horse is going to fit in the stalls comfortably.  He is 15.3 (big butt) weighs about 1300 lbs.  Anyone out there have any problems with large horses in this trailer?   thanks

Oregon, I have an 2004 8541 3/H Platinum Edition no L/Q We have no problems with larger horses. One is 15-3 hands other is a round and a short 15-3 hands. They have plenty of room.  Here are the specs on the 05's http://www.fthr.com/trailers/model_template.cfm?cat=horse&ModelID=18&styleName=Gooseneck&lqcheck=Standard%20Aluminum
