Any suggestions of what can be placed on the back wall of badly kick horse trailer. Have seen trailers with a (?)fiberglass looking board that was water resistant. But no one seem to know the name of the material. And yes no longer hauling the mare that did the damage.

When I asked that same question (BTW-it was a mare for me also!) I was directed toward Rumber. You can buy it in sheets from Valley Vet; they will send you a sample if you are like me and need "hands on" before making a decision. Great stuff, easy to install.

Another option are ABS sheets. My trailer has these on the walls (& a rumber floor) and I've had some bad kickers in my trailer and you'd never know it. Either works great. The ABS is kinda slick and it seems like their feet slide down and don't grab it as can happen with regular rubber sheets.

If the wall is also a ramp then (obviously) you can't use anything that will have poor traction - unless you put rubber mat over it.
Hosspuller has suggested a sheet material in other posts that has all the desirable qualities EXCEPT low price - he might reply here (hint).
There's always plywood, or decking.... I'm thinking the synthetic stuff, but I really don't know how well that would stand up to kicking.
