Has anyone had personal experience with the WERM flooring system in their horse trailer?  What has been your experience?  Is it as good as they claim?  Any problems with it?  How long have you had it?  Thanks.

I've had werm floors for 3 years.  I like it a lot but the one horse I have paws a lot and has worn a little off of that area.  It's not much at all and I know I can have it repaired if needed.

I have not had mine very long but love it. My mare is a little apprehensive about trailers and she panicked one day in the trailer and tried to turn around to face the back. It was a tight squeeze for her to turn around and she was literally leaning against the front bulkhead wall at about a 45 degree angle. I thought for sure her feet were coming out from under her and she was going down. She never lost her footing and because the floor doesn't move like a mat might have, there was no disaster.

I know it cost only a little over $200 to have the WERM flooring in my trailer and I think it's worth every penny of that.

Where did you have your werm flooring put in? What size is your trailer?
Sounds like a real good price for it.

As far as I know, only the manufacturer can install the flooring. I ordered my trailer with the WERM floors and that was the cost for it verses mats ($207). I bought a 2H Slant GN with rear tack and the RT also has the WERM floor.

There are a number of dealers around the country who are authorized to install the WERM.

We bought our 4 horse trailer about 2 year's ago.  The WERM flooring was installed at the factory and added $1,000 to the price of the trailer.  Well worth it.  You don't have to mess with mat's.  Just sweep as clean as you can and take it to the car wash and hose out the interior.

We've not had any horses slip on the WERM. It has a orange-peel surface.  But then, we always bedding in it.  An added attraction is the fact we can have the WERM flooring repaired if we get any gouges.
