I have looked over some of these anyone know anything about them? LQ packages with the bathroom about 6' mounted ahead of the entrance door and kithchen area in the rear.

I have a friend with the bathroom in front of the bed. It works out real nice. She can just close the door to the bathroom, and the "bedroom" is private. Classic Conversion (Aubrey, TX) did the LQ. Very pretty.

I just wonder if they are heavier than a regular layout.

I would think they'd have a heavier pin weight on the truck, as the fixtures and black tank would be further forward from the trailer axles. JMO

I would think so too. Although my black tank ever gets more than half full. and its about 10' from the front. On the front LQ package its about 3 to 5'.

I wish someone who had one would see this post.

We have a 94 Sidekick with full living quarters (27 foot box) and our bathroom is situatated right after gooseneck.  I love the bathroom in this location because the bedroom and bathroom can be separated from the rest of the living quarters.  We pull with a 2000 Ford F350 Dually with no issues.  The gray and black water tanks are directly below the bathroom area.  I would not be concerned with this...put the bathroom where you want it to be-get what you want in your trailer.

I've looked at these layouts and see good things and bad things about them.  THe good thing is that the bedroom area is more private.  Not a bad idea if you have quests or kids.  The bad thing is that making the bed is a bear!  Even getting the matress in and out is a bear (not that this would be an issue unless it needed to be replaced).

I have a trailer with a bathroom in the front. The black tank is right under it like the one above. I haul with a 3/4 ton truck and haven't had a problem. I hadn't thought much about it but most lq trailers do have the bathroom at the back. But if I was planning one I would't worry about putting it up front.

Thanks. I like the layout and may proceed with a plan. It seems to make a more roomy living area as well. I will be pulling with a 450 or 550 or similar size truck.
