Happy Thanksgiving!

Recently got my brand approved, so am now looking for a place that can make a custom copper branding iron for freeze branding. Can anyone refer a good place to have an iron made?

Thanks, and have a great holiday weekend.

We get our branding irons from L & H Manufacturing Company in North Dakota. Their toll free number is 800-437-8068. You can also get a video from them that will show you how to freeze brand your own horse.

Hi Whinny2; Thanks for the name and number. So I  send them a actual size drawing of the brand? (guess I could just call and ask them what to do!). You've always been happy with their work?

Thanks for the info!

The state detemines what size your brand has to be. We have been really happy with our brands. We have sent several people to them.

Does anyone know how to correct a freeze brand that didn't turn out well? I bought a gelding that has the same brand as my mare but it is broken in the middle and doesn't look the same exactly.
