Hi, just got back from SEMA in Vegas. Found some great new ideas I'll be reporting on latter. I know alot of you spend time here in the forum and don't get to the home page as much. But there are new stories there, check out my latest review of Hawk Trailers.

Not exactly a "New Idea", but something I hadn't seen before.
I saw a horse tied to a trailer with a Hi-Tie on sunday. It is basically a bracket that mounts high on the trailer, in this case just above the escape door, and has a short length (maybe 3 or 4 ft) of plastic pipe. The horse is tied to it with about a 3 or 4ft heavy bungie trailer tie. The pipe folds flat against the trailer for travelling.
The owner seemed to have set it up so the horse couldn't reach the ground to graze, but could get his head into the trailer for the hay in his soft feed tray.
OK, so I just HAD TO ASK - they're a little over $300 at Sportack.

Anyone familiar with mooring whips will probably recognize the idea (-:
It keeps the horse OFF the trailer, OFF the ground and probably AWAY FROM those tasty tire valve stems.
