I'm looking for a 3H side by side with LQ and mid-tack....... I'm pretty sure I'll never find a used one. I know Jamco, Platinum, and I think 4 Star will make what I want but who else will? I also need something that will last a long time and a lot of miles (15-20k a year) a lot of it on rough back roads.

Sooner has been around for years and know the ins and outs of a horse trailer and do good custom jobs. So does Cimmarron. I have dealt with both the dealers of these brands in Tulsa, OK and have been very happy! Classic Trailers is the Sooner dealer there and Champion Trailers is the Cimarron dealer there.

Amost any manufacturer will custom build. Most horse trailers nowadays are custom built, starting with a basic model and adding features and options to make it your way. Pick a brand you like, contact a dealer, and tell them what you want. A quote should be forthcoming.

Have to agree with the Integrity trailer post. Definetly worth looking at. An extremely impressive trailer, a great company to work with, and reasonably priced for the level of quality and dependability that you receive. Can't say enough about my experience with Integrity trailers.

Dream Coach builds a very nice custom trailer. You can check them out at www.dreamcoachtrailer.com or call 877-993-7326 to find the dealer nearest to you. They were a wonderful company to work with to get the trailer just the way we wanted.

I'll second the Cimarron/CM trailers. I had one built and I couldn't be happier....the quality is excellent!!! They were very helpful and easy to work with too. I would highly recommend calling Casey at Champion Trailers in Tulsa, OK.

I will have to politely disagree with rkdyno801. I know for a fact that is not true. C&C may be a fine trailer, but by no means are they they ONLY one. We work with several trailer companies and have seen their work up close and personal.

A nice trailer, though a slow build time is Sidekick in N W Florida. Well worth the wait. I have a few friends that have them and ALL THEY DO is custom. No "spec" or lot models. Yours will not be like anyone elses. They don't mass produce any...just one at the time per customer order. My friend just got a fab two horse slant and the dealer spent literally weeks helping her get it just the way she wanted it prior to build for her warmbloods. She wanted fancy...she got fancy! I'll attach a pic. It will blind you, ha ha.

Merry Christmas to all!
So, C&C is the only "true" custom trailer company left. I have great news.....there is another one!
STIDHAM is a small, family owned and operated company in Chickasha, Oklahoma. They have been building trailers since 1958. I have owned exclusively Stidhams since 1970, and have been to the factory, and talked with the founder, as well as the grandsons currently in charge, and they are ON the factory floor!
Check out the web site, and give Robbie Stidham a call.

I pull a Cimarron and put a couple thousand miles a month on my trailer. Love it! TOTALLY custom and affordable. So many benefits and a great company. I deal with cimarron trailers every day. They are never in the shop for repairs and you don't see many used cimarrons for sale. The sky is the limit with cimarron.

I've dealt with the guys at Champion Trailers in Tulsa, too. Casey was great to work with. His brother, Clint, sells Sooner and Exiss down at Classic Trailers in Tulsa. Both are very knowledgable of their product and really professional. The Cimarron was able to do more customizing for me though and I love my trailer.

Looks as if you have gotten lots of info about companies that might be able to build what you want and thats good as you can check out the trailers and prices then go with what YOU THINK IS THE BEST ONE FOR YOU. Have you thought about stall width? Likely they will be narrow but that may work out ok if you only haul smaller horses and will always haul small horses. Have seen three of these three horse wide trailers and while I did not measure the stalls they were narrow. Something to consider in case you haven't already
