hi,

Does anyone have any issues with a 2 horse slantload 8 feet wide with managers?  It has the wheel casing ( not sure if that is what it is called) a bit inside of the horse area.  It kind of sticks out at the horses hind leg/ tail area.  WOuld this be an issue for a horse?  Thanks for any info .

The mangers are ok, but I wouldn't want wheel wells by the hind legs. The less things that a horse could hurt itself on the better off he is.

Probably more of a "poop shelf" than anything - but some manufacturers (I know Integrity Trailers offers as an option) are doing tapered wheel wells. They slope the wheel well up at a long angle to eliminate any possibility of problems with the wheel well.

I have an 8ft. wide with mangers and wheel wells on the inside.  I've never had a problem with a horse getting on them.  But Yes, they are a dandy place to place poop!!  You'll love the mangers and the room it allows for storage underneath.  Don't worry about the wheel wells.  No problem!
