I'll try to ask it as it was asked to me;

Do you adjust your brake controller when the roads are wet ?

The answer leads to;

If so why so ?

If not why not ?

I could have started this as a poll, but I don't think I can predict the probable answers well enough (-:

Yes, though around here a lot of them seem to be "Impervious" (sic) to it.

I've adjusted mine to dry conditions. I just slow down when it's wet, especially when I'm driving in the city.

Wet = no adjustment

Ice = turn them down

Empty = adjust to load

Empty = adjust so tires don't slide

Loaded = adjust for equal truck/trailer braking power

Wet Roads = turn down somewhat, so tires don't slide

Snow covered roads = turn down a LOT. Chain up rearmost axle

Whenever the trailer tires lock up and slide on slippery road surfaces, the trailer swings out to pass the tow vehicle.(jacknife) Electric trailer brakes get touchy or grabby when wet, so it's best to turn down the gain on them.
