Hello .. Welcome to this forum ...
I made a hitch sorta like the tractor ezhitch. It's handy for moving trailers around. BUT .. there is a danger with gooseneck trailers. You should be aware that if the trailer is too heavy for the tractor or if the trailer should get hung up on something while you're pulling it... The GN attachment point to the tractor is above the rear axle. The tractor could flip backward.

I built one almost exactly like the one shown. It is handy for moving things around as I us the goose neck and the standard trailer hitch. My trouble is in backing. Like the other thread explained, the center of connection is high. As I back up, any resistance in the trailer lift's the three point. This brings it closer to the tractor, and the front of my trailer made contact with the canopy on the tractor(small dent, damn).

If you only have a BP you can just put a ball on your draw bar and use a stabilizer bar to keep it from swinging from side to side. Cost = near nothing.

Simpler and safer is a ball near the front edge of the bucket - if you have a front end loader and if you have enough tractor to move a boat or horse trailer around, then you probably have a FEL.
BTW, just about ANY tractor can wheelie over backwards, even without a load.

I use one all the time but I took my hay spear off ( mine is removealbe) and welded a ball on top. and a receiver hitch on bottom. If I need a round bail my spear goes back on with two U bolts and 4 nuts. Works great. Been using it for 10 years. Can move my LQ trailer, bumper or flat bed. But my tractor has a pretty good size loader on it. You may have to buy some front weights if you don't have a loader.

Thanks for the advice, but I just plan on moving it around unloaded as the boat and the horse trailer is in the way sometimes.
I think those folk are NUTS !
They're promoting it for Cat 0 (and 1) tractors - in my book themz is teenie weenie twactors, barely above Walmart's ride around mowers.
It would be a cold day in a place that is rumored to be HOT before I'd hook ANY gooseneck trailer to a cat 0 tractor - with or without their gizmo.
BTW, that is an easy weld_it_up_yourself project, but they REALLY need to get their tractor sizes straight. The 2 inch receiver is also an invitation to try hauling something too big around - too big for a cat 0.

I just purchased the EZ-Workhorse base unit with rear 3 point forklift attachment and it is extremely heavy duty as I would consider the unit a class 2 as the mounting brackets take 7/8 pins. Have 5316 John Deere 4x4
