Has anyone come up with a way to mount a curtain rod or place a curtain on the interior of the LQ door without drilling holes in the door itself to mount a curtain rod? If not, don't be looking in my door window if you don't want to see an overweight middle-aged woman changing clothes. I just hate to drill holes anywhere in my trailer! And gray taping a curtain up over the door window just kinda ruins the ambience of all that money I spent on the interior!

KR - Is there a recessed window in your door? If so, you could maybe find a springloaded rod for it. I think I saw some really short ones at WalMart once.
Ours has a shade mounted over it. It came like that from the LQ Co. It doesn't look decorative, kinda plain, but it matches all the other shades.

Drilling holes in the inner skin of the door isn't such a bad thing. The key is the inner skin. Use a small drill, like a 1/16 th drill or smaller, then use the proper sized drill for the screw. But if you still don't want to drill the holes, I would suggest glueing the hangers with "crazy glue" or get a windshield / rear view mirror glue kit.

I have a window in my LQ door that needed a flat privacy curtain and my Mom and I actually designed a shade made of white denim type fabric - doubled and seemed. We used a velco strip to attach it to the top of the window and another strip on the bottom. We included fabric ties (2), so this shade can be rolled up and held up for when we want the window open. Works just perfect!
I have a roll out screen door that doesn't leave room between door and screen for a regular shade or any frame that would support a shade or curtain.

Great ideas. I should have thought of the velcro one myself. I made curtains for all the windows in the back of our trailer. Cowboy shower. I just stuck a velcro on the corners of the material and on the aluminium walls. Voila! No hardware to worry with. No peep shows. Life is good!

I, too, did not want to treat anyone to a strip show so I used a tension rod from Wally World to mount just above the door. It would have fit in the actual door opening but also worked on the wall to one side and the microwave cupboard on the other side. I also took the door off the bathroom because it opened into and took up too much LQ space. I mounted a regular cafe curtain rod inside the bathroom over the door opening to hang a curtain. Drilled small pilot holes into the molding trim and screwed the hardware into that for stability. Was going to sew curtains for both spaces but I found a denim tab top window panel 84" long that solved both door and window curtain problems. I cut the tab top off the panel to make it the right length for the bathroom door and hung it with curtain clips. Then I sewed the tab top to some red vintage cowgirl fabric for the door privacy panel. It all looks custom made and color coordinated with very little sewing. The outside door panel ties back with a bandana when not in use and the bathroom curtain slides back out of sight. I made sure the rod extended past the door opening on both sides so the curtain could go either side, out of the way. Good luck with yours!

Another option-use two of those large plastic hooks that attach to surfaces by suction. Put your curtain on a dowel rod and set each end of the dowel rod in a suction hook. No glue, no drilling. And if you don't want to sew, get towels of the right size and buy pinch clips; they will grab the towel fabric and you just slide them on the dowel rods like shower curtains.
