We currently have a 3.0 refrigerator with freezer. Has anyone ever upgraded to a 6.0 or bigger?  We have a very large and deep storage cabinet with TV above and was thinking of putting a bigger refrigerator in that space and using the space where our current refrigerator is for storage.  It would eliminate taking a cooler as well for ice, pop, etc.  Any ideas/comments/suggestions would be appreciated.

IMO you will be SO glad you have the bigger fridge. I wasn't looking for one in my trailer, just came that way, and I can't imagine getting by with one any smaller, especially for more than one night or more than 1 person. Sounds like you have a good space for the bigger unit, and you can usually find little spaces for clothes and such, but a cooler full of ice takes up lots of space! Good luck.

If it is a gas/electric - just make sure you can vent it properly where you plan to move it to.

We're usually away for at least 4 nights so the bigger one should make quite a difference.  Our current one is gas/electric, any idea what the price range is?

Checking Ebay I find them in the range of $650  to $1,000.

We vent 6.0's differently than 3.0's so you might want to look into how the manufacturer of the new fridge recommends venting it.

Thanks for all your inputs.  Think we'll look into the cost of venting, etc. before we look at buying a new frig.  It's only money, right!!!!
