I have recently returned from a trail ride in Colorado, I rode with the Rocky Mountain Quarter Hours Assn (RMQHA) at the M Lazy C Ranch, I had a great time, the food was excellent and the advanced trail ride (20 miles) was breath taking, we rode to the South Platt River and back to the ranch. The accommodations at the M Lazy C Ranch were great and there were tons of trails, I will be looking forward to the RMQHA ride next year, but may visit the ranch again before the organized rides. Now I have to start preparing for my trip to Tombstone Az this weekend and to Catalina State Park in Tuscon Az in November, Happy Trails

Colorado sounds wonderful, however, I'm interested in your Arizona /New Mexico trip.  We are planning a trip from Oregon to Texas starting in March and are looking for camping/riding along the way.  We are retired and have "time" to spend getting there.  We will leave Texas in May and come home a more Northern (cooler) way sooo any info you might have about Utah/Wyoming/Idaho/Nevada would be wonderful to share.  Thanks
