I'M IN THE PLANNING STAGES OF PUTTING LIVING QUARTERS IN MY HORSE TRAILER. I HAVE SEVERAL QUESTIONS THAT I NEED HELP ON.

WILL 3" ROLLED BAT INSULATION WORK O.K. FOR MY LIVING QUARTERS?

WHAT GA. WIRE SHOULD I RUN FOR MY 12V SYSTEM? (SOLID OR STRANDED)

I PLAN ON USING OAK PANELING ON THE WALLS, WHAT IS BEST FOR CEILING?

I WILL HAVE A 42 GAL. FRESH WATER TANK IN MY BOOT BOX. DO I NEED TO USE A DRAIN VALVE AT THE WATER TANK FOR FREEZING WEATHER?

WHERE CAN I PURCHASE THE 12VOLT FUSE PANEL AND SWITCHES?

LASTLY, WHERE CAN I PURCHASE A PASS THRU DOOR FROM THE LQ TO THE FIRST STALL?

ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

DAVID

It should be fine but remember if you compress insulation it loses it's R proporties. I would suggest the foam type or bubble wrap type as it's easiest to work with IMO.

I used 14 gauge stranded thru-out my trailer. If I had to do it again (a 3rd time) I'd use 12 but 14 is the norm from what I understand.

You can use the paneling. Others have used FRP attached to 1/4" plywood.

If I had a tank I would put a drain in it

You can get your panels from most of your RV supply places or Westmarine has a good selection (ahhh another link to put on my web site ). http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?...
I like this place as well: http://www.go-rv.com/coast/do/catalog/main?dealerId=1170

LASTLY, WHERE CAN I PURCHASE A PASS THRU DOOR FROM THE LQ TO THE FIRST STALL?
There was link to a place for that just recently anybody? only place I can think of is here: http://www.statewidealum.com/ but my experaince with them is nill to say the least.
You can check my web site for some other links.
Hope this helps.

Safe Riding,
Todd

TODD,

YOU ADVISED USING FRP ATTACHED TO 1/4" PLYWOOD. HOW THICK IS THE FRP AND WHERE CAN I PURCHASE IT.

Lowes Homes stores sells the stuff in 4x8 sheets.  It's about 1/16 th inch thin.  About $30 per sheet.  I think it's used for shower and tub walls.

Home Depot, around here does not stock it.
