Basically there is no such thing.  The banks around here rely on the dealers' assessments.

The only horse trailers actually listed in the NADA guide are Sundowner. Under RV section and listed under Sundowner. Since Sundowner has a code such as 8010, 8214 etc they are traceable for values and it list all the options and gives you a value. Other than Sundowner, it's whatever the dealer tells the Bank.

Too much depends on geographical location to get an accuate quote. I put a "wanted" on this trailer sight. I got quotes from the mid west and east coast of the trailer I wanted for about $18K-23K. I got it locally for about 1/3 of that amount. Then I see trailers that I can get around here for about $6000, then I see the exact same trailer f about $3000 down south. Horse trailers seem o vary too much. It is impossible to gt a "blue book" value on a horse trailer. It depends too much on the local market.

Thank you for this info.  I am looking at a used Sundowner, and found the NADA site very useful.  Though it came back with a significantly lower price value than is being asked.  I'm wanting to make an appropriate offer to the seller (not a dealer).  Any ideas?  The trailer has some body damage and is not very clean.  Thanks!

If that is the case the seller is asking too much!  I have a Sundower 8010 Signature series 3 horse and it was right on the money, but did not have adds for the stainless steel sides panels and some extras our was orederd with.  But for the price NADA showed and what we paid, I can list it and make good money off of it!  NADA value on mine was almost 46-k and we paid under 30-k for it!

As stated above there is no BlueBook for horse trailers.  What I've noticed over the past few years, since banks have tightened up there lending guidelines,  both new and used trailers for sale by dealers seem to fetch a higher price then new and used trailers advertised by private sells.  This is due to the fact that dealers can usually get financing for buyers much easier then individuals.  Banks just don't want to lend to individuals anymore.

You are correct, ther is no "blue book" it is actually a yellow NADA book!  But they do have some horse trailer manufactures listed.  Look it up for yourself at nada.com and click on the rv section.

The best place to find a value on a trailer or a trailer like that is either HTW or local adds.

Would you mind posting a link? I was unable to locate anything at all on the NADA site regarding horse trailers.

I must be doing something wrong. The only Exiss I could find was for RVs and travel trailers, no horse trailers.

NOPE...You're right, it's Exiss travel trailers... Not, Exiss horse trailers.  I thought those model numbers didn't look quite right.

You are correct! You will not see them listed as "horse trialers"! They are listed as rv, travel trailers/5th wheels!

I just looked up a 2004 EXISS and the show all LQ models that was built in 2004, even the sport models with and without glideout models. If you go to nadaguides.com click on rvs on the upper bar, then click on travel trailer/5th wheel models, then E for Exiss then it gives you a list that starts with M for models and they have everything from the SS308 to the SS414 and so on!..... The 4 STAR on list 2002 and 2003 models. Trails West list most all years as well as Sundowner!

These are living quarter models ONLY!
