Just saw on the sales list a Shadow one horse BP slant.  I have a two horse, and because I ride with a friend, would always have a two horse.

I am not sure of the advantages of a one horse.  Could someone elaborate?I like the fact it would be as wide as a 2-horse, those old in-line two horse trailers were somewhat scary to me, although they did have four wheels which I thought made them harder to back up.

Would this also affect the resale value?  I saw it cost as much as some quality two horse trailers.

Advantages of a 1H?  Not many.  It would be shorter than a 2.  You couldn't use the open stall to store extra things or for hauling an extra horse from time to time.  Very low resale value in my opinion.

whats the point of any 1 horse or single axle trailer for that matter? if i had use for a 1 horse trailer i would sure rather have a slant.

everything has its place though, and someone must be buying them because several manuf. are still making them. and resale should be just as good as the next trailer, it may just take longer(maybe real long) to find someone with those specific needs/wants.........and there is always ebay.
