Would someone please tell what to use to get rid of those pesky aluminum oxide streaks on my new white trailer.

Carol

I have found that a drip rail on my gooseneck solves the "black streak" problem.

We have tried many Black Streak removers out there .  They all require lots of "elbow grease".  Just recently I discovered a product called Awesome.  It's available at Dollar Stores--for a dollar !!  It works with no effort on your part--spray it on--wipe the streaks off !!  By the way--it works just as effortlessly on awnings that have gotten streaks or stains on them.  It turned mine sparkling white very easily.  Hope this helps,   Zane.

Do yourself a favor and put a coat of liquid wax on that clean trailer.  There are many cleaners that will work as easily as Awesome is described, but most of them also remove the hard surface of white aluminum, and each subsequent removal of the black streaks is more difficult.  If you will use some easy spray-on or wipe-on wax, the streaks will come off easily each time.

We have just recently found a product called FastBall that takes off the streaks and does not seem to affect the surface of the white aluminum.  We have used it long enough now to feel comfortable with not waxing.  It is available through commercial janitorial supply warehouses, and we are now keeping it in our inventory.

Right... This is the "Stop putting the streaks there" solution ?
My solution was to "Stop washing them down off the roof".
Similar and easier than taking them off.

Would you mind sharing which drip moulding you used?  I shopped it on line and there are quite a few.  Would appreciate knowing what worked for you.  Thanks! Evallone@aol.com
