We have a 2015 Hoosier 4H with torsion axles. We drive to a lot of campgrounds in NC and TN with sketchy turns and steep grades, our trailer has come much too close to the truck bed on more than one occasion and we would like to add blocks and raise it a few inches. Has anyone added blocks to torsion axles? *Calling our local trailer repair place too, just looking for input good and bad from those with experience.

I blocked my Sundowner trailer axles many years ago. Blocking the axles is simple IF the axles are bolted to the frame. Longer high grade bolts make it simple. If the axles are welded on, then they have to be cut off and rewelded with blocks.
Another solution is replacing the axles with the arm positioned below the axle center.
