Brought home a new Cimarron yesterday and the user’s manual is no help because nothing in there fits what I’m looking at.

6000 pound Dexter axles, 16” 8 hole aluminum rims with 3/4” lugs. The manual doesn’t go above 5/8” but these are definitely larger. So what is the proper torque?

A 6K axle generally has 1/2" lug studs. You measure the stud diameter, not the size of the socket for the nut. A 1/2" stud is generally in the 100# range.
