Just curious how bad a "salvage title" hurts a older model LQ trailer?
Found one that would work for what we need, talked to the insurance company and found out it was salvaged because of hail damage and the cost to repair being a older model trailer. Doesn't look like much damage, no leaks, no water damage. Worst is about 30 small dings on the top and a/c cover and another plastic cover on top is cracked.

Best part is the price is about a 1/3 of what similar trailers without a salvage title are selling for.

Salvage title hurts resale $$, makes it impossible to finance, and may cause problems getting insurance (because they can't figure value). But it can make for a great deal on a very usable trailer. Roof dings are very common, but expensive to fix. So older trailers can get "totaled" and still be just fine.

Yes sir, figured it would hurt it. But wasn't sure how much being a 2004 model trailer. Been seeing similar trailers 25k to 30k range and this one is probably going to be 10k range. That's why I thought about taking a chance on it. Be less than 1/2 price! Not too worried about the roof dents, being in North Texas I'm thinking that is a standard option on them. Lol. Plus I will put a rubber seal coating it as soon as I buy it.

At 10K just make sure and operate everything before you write the check. Sometimes units awaiting insurance settlement or such sit around and freeze, or get dirt dobbers, mice, or so on. If it all works, buy and enjoy.
