What is the difference for the lq's?? does a straight wall mean both walls are the same size in length? vs the short wall being shorter than the opposing?? Thanks

When someone says straight wall that means that the LQ is the same length on both the head (or street side) and the butt (or curb side). Usually it's either a straight load trailer or it's a slant load trailer with a mid tack or also called a mud room that is straight on the LQ side and slanted on the horse side that looks like a pie shape. The reference to a short wall is on a slant load trailer with an LQ that the wall dividing the horses from the LQ is also on a slant. The long wall on a slant load will be 4' longer than the short wall. IE...short wall LQ of 10' will have a 14' long wall. The short wall will always be on the head side. Hope that helps...a drawing would be easier to show/explain.
