I'm considering this trailer, but need more information.  Look at ad#48561.  I've never heard of this brand.  Anyone have any input?

I'd contact the owner and ask what LF means.  The owner looks like he is on the up and up as the trailer has the laney farms symbol on it.  Probably by talking with him, you would get more info on it.

However, Phoenix is a long way from Florida!!!

Not sure, but I think the last time I looked in the zip code directory, AL was for Alabama, not Arizona.

LF stands for Laney Farms

Phenix City  to Milton Fl is about 225 miles

Be sure the trailer has torsion axles not springs, torsion give you a better ride.

It looks like there is minimal clearance between the truck and the gooseneck of the trailer, you might crunch your tailgate.

It states that it is a four horse, it looks like it is a straight load.

Being that you are in Florida, do you think that there are enough windows for ventilation. Those bus windows only open half way at least.

Check out the floor for bad boards, a trailer that is 15 years old might need the floor replaced.

It would seem to me that the horse area is very small. I assume that the short wall is 12' and long wall is 14'. Trailers usually have a 4' difference between the two. This is a 7'-7'6" wide trailer and the stalls would seem very short to me on those angles given from the LQ. My 4 horse trailer is 25' on the floor plus 7.5' for the gooseneck (32.5' total). It only has an 8' sw and 12' lw. If the 30' length is just the floor, it may not be that bad.

Looks to me like this trailer might be home made. If it is, I would have it checked out thoroughly before buying. Hard to tell from pictures however.

I agree with what some of you say. It looks homemade and the windows are too small for Florida's heat. But I talked to the man and it turns out the trailer weighs too much. With all 4 horses loaded up, plus tack and feed, it is about #1200 over my weight limit.

I'll keep on looking. I need to find a stock-type trailer instead.
