errr, "RTOM" ?
Read The Owner's Manual

I know, its a GUY thing, we usually don't,
its so much easier to follow the sparks and smoke
to the cause of the problem (-:

Seriously, there is probably a page or two about ensuring that your gen and trailer are wired compatibly. Don't plug the trailer into the generator until you have at least read, understood and performed that section. Get a qualified (and insured) sparks to do it for you if you have ANY doubts.

Ya I know about the guy thing and instruction manuals, but I have read it and just wanting to know if I need to do anything else.

This thing cost me some $$$ so I don't want to screw it up. Thanks.

Rick,

I assume you were given or purchased an adapter to go from your horse trailer cord to the generator.  That should be all you need.  If it's similar to my Yamaha (ISEB3500), then you need to turn on the gas knob, pull out the choke, and turn the key.  It should start right up.  Then plug 'er in and check all your electrical appliances in your trailer to see if they are operating.
