Curious, could someone give me some info on buying a new jack either elec or hydraulic and some feed-back about your opinion. I am putting this on an older 87 featherlite. I don't want to spend alot on this. I would guess I would need about at least a 10,000lb jack thanks.

If you go hydraulic you will spend close to if not more than $2000.00. A good elec. jack will do just fine as long as your LQ is not over 10' or 12', The load on a elec. jack over this will shorten its life or cause it to stip its gears. Some people have been lucky with a heavier load, but its not recomended. The hydraulic is much, much stronger and quicker not to mention faster than an elec. jack but costs much more. Maybe in time the cost will come down like everything else does when its first hot. You can get an elec. jack installed for around 5 to 6 hundred dollars.

Good Luck
